Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This page explains what happens to your personal data when you use dariocalamai.com. I’ve kept it short on purpose, because the site collects very little.
Who is responsible
The data controller is Dario Calamai. You can reach me at the contact form on the home page.
What I collect, and why
- Contact form. If you write to me through the form, I receive your name, email address and the message you type. I use them only to reply to you. The form is handled by Web3Forms, a form service that forwards your message to my email inbox. I don’t use your details for newsletters or marketing, and I don’t sell or share them.
- Email. If you write to me directly by email, I keep our correspondence for as long as it is needed to reply and to keep a record of it.
- Technical data. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver and protect the site. I don’t use analytics or advertising trackers, and I don’t set any cookies myself.
- Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent to me.
My legal basis for replying to your messages is my legitimate interest in answering people who write to me and, when you ask about lessons, steps taken at your request before an agreement.
Content from other services
Some parts of the site load content from other services, which may receive your IP address and technical data when you visit:
- Google Fonts, for the typefaces.
- YouTube, for the preview images of the videos. On a computer, when you click a video, the player is loaded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode.
The links to Spotify, Instagram, YouTube and Amazon take you to external sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Just write to me using the contact above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Changes
If anything changes in the way the site works, I’ll update this page and the date above.
